What is Furrton

Furrton as a project is a couple of things. It's the name for my overarching comic project, consisting of three main parts known as the Furrton Trilogy, as well as many other side projects I plan to slip in between them. The Trilogy sets up the entire world and introduces you to all kinds of fun, lovable characters who go through real world problems. In these comics I explore themes of creation, destruction, war, oppression, peace and love, and my goal is to show people these themes in a new and interesting way, with characters you'll fall in love with in the process.Furrton is also the name given to the continent on which the main story takes place. It was originally home to a group of religious nomadic tribes called The Chromakalo, who were not the ones to give the continent its "official" name. The name Furrton came along once the Settlers of New Borke arrived on the scene.

The Furrton Trilogy

The Furrton Trilogy is a series of three comics about the continent of Furrton that follows two orphaned children, Gingy Catsclaw, a young, adventurous antros who has a love for adventure, fun, and creation, and Muffin, a mysterious antros girl who doesn't even remember where she came from. The trilogy consists of Three Parts that detail Gingy and Muffin's journey across the continent to band the different Chromakalo groups together to end the Great Furrtonian Civil War. Below is a short description of each book, each of which is subject to change considering these books are still a work in progress

FURRTON : Into The Woods

FURRTON : Into the Woods is the first of three graphic novels in the Furrton Trilogy. It introduces Gingy and Muffin, as well as the overarching world, it's rules, and its many dangers. Join them on their first adventure where they learn to discover and protect each other, use their powers, whether they be new or old, and see the beauties of life all while making it back home before nightfall when the Everdark come out. This book is the one currently being developed, and comic pages are hopefully going to come out on my patreon within the year of 2026

Furrton : Into the Battlefield

FURRTON : Into the Battlefield is the second of three graphic novels in the Furrton Trilogy. It introduces Gingy and Muffin to the greater war going on all around them as they explore much farther than Momma Catsclaw would have ever taken them. Join Gingy and Muffin on their adventure to forge new weapons, make new friends, and band the Chromakalo tribes together in their fight to reclaim their right to the continent from the Defenders of Antros Worldly Genetic Supremacy. This book is in the writing and concept art stage, and no major official pages or scripts have been made for it just yet.

Furrton : Into the Future

FURRTON : Into the Future is the third and final graphic novel in the Furrton Trilogy. The war is over, and Lord Bloodhowl, leader of the D.A.W.G.S is long gone after his final battle against Gingy Catsclaw. Join our decorated war heroes Gingy and Muffin one last time as they explore grief, healing, and rebuilding in a world after war. This book is in the writing and concept art stage, and no major official pages or scripts have been made for it just yet.

The Main Characters

Gingeronicus "Gingy" Catsclaw

Believing he is the last of his kind, Gingy gets impatient while waiting for his family to get back from a resupply trip, and realizes he doesn't have to stay inside all day. One day he goes outside the safety of his bunker in the woods out of complete and utter boredom, and realizes the dangerous Everdark that his momma warned him about only ever come out when night falls. Now this curious Catsclaw protects his home at night and gets up to all kinds of shenanigans in the woods when the sun rises and forces the Everdarkness to hide away. Who knows what kind of adventures await this young Chromakalo, and what kind of people he might meet out in the woods, so long as he can keep himself alive and get home before dusk.

"Muffin"

Wandering the woods sure does work up not only an appetite, but also an awful state of mind. Barely being able to remember her own name, or the joys of a life long behind her, this lost girl hastily names herself "Muffin" based on the few memories she can scrounge together after unexpectedly bumping into a kind boy who apparently lives in the woods. Now shes left with even more questions to answer. Why was he treating her so nice? How the hell did she even end up out here? Why can't she remember anything from before? Maybe if she pushes herself to see the light of the next day, she'll be able to figure it all out. Maybe she will get to see the true wonder and joy of being alive, just so long as she doesn't starve or drown herself first.

Main Groups of Antros in Furrton

The Chromakalo

The Chromakalo are a group of many Nomadic religious tribes who follow the Chromatic Pantheon of Godesses. In exchange for their devout worship, the godesses, who remain incredibly flattered by it, bless the people with a creative gift that gives them the power to bend and reshape the world around them through the art of Chroma Bending. The Chromakalo understand the world is made of two things, Chroma (Color and Light) and Valu (Darkness and Structure). When these two substances come together in the right amounts, they make up everything in the world around them. The Chromatic Blessing of the Godesses allows the Chromakalo people to bend Chroma, allowing them to live and create in ways most people can't. They can erect and dismantle entire cities within a few hours, allowing them to travel nomadically while still having intricate cities and customs between tribes. They can create easily in ways that would ussually require tools and skills of a trade, like bending clothes instead of sewing them, or bending energy into their bodies instead of eating. The only things limiting a Chromakalo are their willpower, their imagination, and their Godesses one commandment"Go forth, Be Generous, Create."

The New Borkers

The Settlers of New Borke came to Furrton looking for new land to settle, and settle they did. They chopped down trees, hunted wildlife, built small towns, and lit bonfires that sent smoke into the skyThe Chromakalo People saw what the newcomers were doing, and decided to something about these new people who were destroying their landThey decided to make peaceThey showed them how to settle and live on the land without destroying jt. Some Chromakalo even pitched in to help the settlers erect their cities, and in return, the settlers taught the Chromakalo their ways, and introduced them to all sorts of new ideas like cooking, philosophy, glass-blowing, and trading. These small towns, with the help of the Chromakalo, eventually became the City of New Borke, which was a fond ally to the Chromakalo people..... mostly.

Settlers of New Borke Flag. This flag was designed soon after New Borke was founded, and was used up until the Great Furrtonian Civil War when the D.A.W.G.S took over the city.

The D.A.W.G.S

A subset of New Borkers that did not take so kindly to the Chromakalo people. They were jealous of their power, and disgusted by their ideals of inter and intra-species relationships. They felt so strongly about these things, that they used propaganda and underground deals to spin this hate and jealously into fear amongst any New Borker that would listen, and eventually, they became a terrorist organization known as the Defenders of Antros Wordly Genetic Supremacy, or D.A.W.G.S, for short. They viewed the Chromakalo people as a threat, and did whatever they could to eradicate them and their sympathizers. Eventually this system got so powerful and efficient, that they were able to pull off the most scandalous terrorist attack in Chrom's history, The Bombing of ChromaAlongside being one of two main substances the world is made of, Chroma was the name of a central city the Chromakalo people decided to erect shortly after the settlers arrived. The DAWGS developed explosives under the nose of the New Bork Council, snuck a mole into the City of Chroma, set off several bombs all around the city. The leader of the D.A.W.G.S, and member of the New Borke Council, Edison Bloodhowl, propagandized the bombing and used it to gain sympathy for a war effort against the Chromakalo people, saying they were too powerful to be left aliveThis shortly lead to the beginning of the Great Furrtonian Civil War, and the beginning of Gingy and Muffin's story in the Furrton Trilogy

HOPE

A group of rebel fighters who fought back against the tyranny of The D.A.W.G.S. They consist of Survivors of the Bombing of Chroma, Displaced Chromakalo Sympathizers from New Borke, and several Chromakalo tribes who joined the cause later in the war. Their goal is to reclaim the woods for all the Chromakalo tribes who called it their home, as well as taking back New Borke from the Martial Rule of the D.A.W.G.S. HOPE isnt an acronym. It's simply the feeling antros feel when they come together to make the world a better place.Hope was officially founded by Oscar Foxtrot, one of the heads of the Old Furrtonian Council, and leader of a displaced sympathizer group kept alive by the blessings of a few surviving Chromakalo people. After the discovery of The Chromatic Forge and Light Weapons and Armor, HOPE recruited all kinds of Chromakalo tribes to band together and save the continent from corruption and tyrrany
